Today, I received my acceptance offer to Texas Tech's PA program located in Midland, TX. For those of you who don't know, I applied to PA school 4 times and although I didn't get in as soon as I would've liked, the idea of giving up never crossed my mind. Each year, I was offered interviews and even waitlisted at a few programs, which proved to me that I was capable of getting accepted. On Monday 2/17 at my interview, I was told that the school received over 1800 applications and only 230 people were interviewed. Out of the 230 interviewees, 60 students were accepted. I give all thanks to God! I would've given up if it wasn't for Him! I also want to thank my husband Luis Rodaniche and parents, Amelia G Rios & Joseph Rios for believing in me and supporting me throughout this taxing 4-year journey. I love y'all so so much! A huge thank you to LeAnn Cyr & Steven Cyr for helping me with my interviews (my weakness), shadowing and volunteer opportunities and personally investing in my future!
